DC-DC buck converter is the basic converter used in most industries right now for smooth operation and control. Renewable energy sources like solar energy, battery management systems, electric vehicles, and lower wind turbine power plants require smooth and dynamic control of the converter for transients’ control and smooth operation. DC-DC converter (Buck converter) operates on very high switching speed, which reduces audio noises, resulting in fast, smooth, and effective control of power on the line side as well as on source side that can be achieved... The study shows the performance analysis of the buck converter by simulation in PSIM for various input and output voltages.
