Abstract

Our reliance on fossil fuels could be decreased and the energy industry could undergo a revolution thanks to solar power. The incorporation of solar energy into traditional power systems is not without its difficulties, though. Planning, funding, and cooperation will be necessary to overcome these obstacles and make solar energy a substantial part of our energy mix. It's time to start using solar energy and work towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future. The energy landscape has changed significantly as solar power becomes more and more integrated into conventional power systems. Positive effects include a drop in electricity prices, a diversification of energy sources, and a reduction in carbon emissions. But it also presents problems, such as the requirement for upgrades to the grid's infrastructure and intermittency. It is anticipated that as solar technology continues to progress and smart grid solutions are developed, the amount of solar power integrated into conventional power systems will increase and contribute to a more sustainable and dependable energy future. While there are many advantages to solar power plants, there are drawbacks as well, such as problems with power quality and harmonic generation. It is crucial to deal with these problems early on since they may affect the plant's dependability and efficiency. Solar power plants can reduce the effects of harmonics and power quality problems with appropriate design, operation, and maintenance, guaranteeing a more dependable and sustainable supply of renewable energy in the future.
